Agitating.. Arousing.. Breathtaking.. Hypnotic.. Revivifying.. Sophisticated.. Soporific. ... these are words Samuel uses to describe his art.
Samuel Kamron was born in Asia in 1969 where his father worked in the diplomatic corps. His father's work brought him and his family to many continents. As a diplomat, the family only managed to stay in one place for a period of four years before being sent off to another country. Thus, Samuel was able learn a great deal about the cultures of different people in a myriad of countries.
During his school years, Samuel Kamron studied at exclusive private institutions, with the daughters and sons of diplomats or the heads of multinational companies, as school companions. He decided that, once he had the choice of doing what he felt right for him, he would leave this society since he had no desire to be part of the "Clan". Consequently, against the will of his parents, he decided to study art.
His rebellious nature and non-submissive ideas forced him to leave a famous art school. At that time, he made the decision to make his way to Thailand, where he was drawn to their way of life. Mr. Choosak, an old art teacher he had known from previous years his family lived in Thailand, looked after him and taught him all the important issues about art. As time passed, he developed his own technique and style which, together with his own creative mind, produces very homogeneous artwork.
Today, Samuel Kamron still lives several months of the year in Thailand, where most of his work is created. Thereafter, the balance of his time is spent wandering through many different countries, expanding his ideas for his creativity. His restless, unsettled is deeply imbedded within. Perhaps one day he'll be drawn to someone who will create a desire to stay in one place but, currently, he still seeks the constant challenge to conquer new places and create new inspiration for his artwork !
